Associate

Jacob is a graduate of Thomas Edison State University and the Rabbinical Seminary of America. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2020 and was admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York in 2021. While in law school, Jacob interned for the Honorable Spencer Eig of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, as well as for a prominent Long Island personal injury law firm, and a Manhattan-based trusts and estates law firm.


Mr. Gassner’s research paper entitled “Freedom or Life: Does a Living Will Truly Serve Its Creator?” was published by the New York Law Journal and the New York State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Newsletter.


Prior to joining Cutler, Gordon & Warga, Mr. Gassner began his legal career as an associate at several New York City-based firms where he gained experience in estate planning, commercial transactions, and various areas of litigation, including real estate, medical malpractice, insurance defense, and breach of contract.


Jacob is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association.
