Associate
Susan's practice focuses on real estate, real estate litigation, civil litigation, business law, tax-law, and contract law. She deals with legal issues for businesses and individuals, including complex taxation issues, contract review, contract drafting, as well as preparing demand letters and handling business litigation. Ms. Rotblat employs her extensive knowledge and experience in property management, both commercial and residential, with assisting clients in a broad range of real estate matters.

While at Brooklyn Law School, Ms. Rotblat was selected to participate in the Immigration Litigation Unit in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where she defended statutory and constitutional challenges arising under the nation’s immigration laws. Ms. Rotblat took the lead in researching case law, drafting memorandum opinions, and attending trials. During her time at the clinic, Ms. Rotblat worked on several cases that were of national significance and which yielded landmark decisions.

Ms. Rotblat is passionate about helping those who can’t help themselves. At Brooklyn Law School, Susan participated in the Disability and Civil Rights Clinic, which advocates as guardian ad litem for Article 17-A guardianship cases. At the clinic, Ms. Rotblat was tasked with drafting opinions which advised the court with regard to guardianship petitions. Ms. Rotblat’s focus was advocating for the best interest of her disabled clients. In providing committed representation to her clients, she visited clients’ homes, and interviewed doctors, teachers, and family members.
